Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the Women V Cancer Cycle Kilimanjaro to Coast 2026 challenge and if your question isn’t answered below, call us on 01590 646410 or call bookings@dream-challenges.com. We’d love to hear from you!

I’ve never done anything like this. Can I still take part?

Yes. Most of our riders are first-timers. You’ll be fully supported from start to finish, with a team around you every step of the way.

Do I need my own bike or gear?

No. We provide high-quality hybrid bikes, built for the terrain and fitted for comfort. You’ll receive a clear kit list and practical guidance to help you prepare.

What happens if I can’t finish a day?

Support vehicles stay with the group throughout. If you need a break, you can rest and rejoin when ready. You’ll never be left to struggle alone.

How does the fundraising work — and where does the money go?

You can either raise sponsorship to cover your trip or choose to self-fund and raise what you can. All funds go to Women V Cancer and are split equally between Breast Cancer Now and Ovarian Cancer Action, after challenge costs. Every pound raised supports research, care, and life-saving awareness.

Can I take part alone?

Absolutely. Most women do. You’ll meet others just like you — and by the end, you’ll have shared something unforgettable together.

How fit do I need to be?

You’ll need to be able to cycle around 30km comfortably. The challenge builds up gradually from there, and the pace is supportive — not competitive.
